Normalized Eating Is...

Going to the table hungry, and eating until you are satisfied.

Being able to choose foods you enjoy and eating them and truly getting enough of it. It is not stopping because you think you should.

Thinking about your food selection so that you get healthy and nutritious foods but not being so wary and restrictive that you miss out

Giving yourself permission to eat, for many reasons.

Eating 3 meals per day.... or 5-6.... or sometimes grazing.

Trusting your body to guide your food selection and make up for mistakes in your eating.

Takes up some of your time and attention, but keeps it's place as only one of the important areas in your life.

In summary, normalized eating is flexible, adaptable and not based in rules. It varies according to your hunger, your fullness, your schedule and your day.
